Always been a huge fan of all things ghostly,so I guess I would have to go with the eternalblade and eternal shield combo, although I think chaos axes in general look better with eternal shields.
However for a more realistic look gothic sword and gothic defender look great together as well, shame there is no inscribable version of the gothic defender atm. |

Ideally it depends on what goes with your armor but on my favorite set, Vabbian:
Sword: Tengu Sword.... how has noone mentioned the golden curved sickness that is the TENGU SWORD..... the colossal scimitar is a close second for the sheer size of it. Shield: Sun and Moon shield. it's just stylish... Istani, militia shield, summit warlord and spiked targe are runner's up. If I'm in my green luxon armor I like my Oaken Aegis and Bramble/Briar blades, I look like a mini juggernaut. The echovald shield, kappa shield undead shield also look good with it, and the undead sword matches the luxon chittiny look well too. If I'm in my gladiators my Militia Shield(the one steffan carries), with one of my straight or shorter blades( mainly the Jitte, but also the greater highlander, flamberge, fiery gladius or crystalline) In my Platemail, the longsword, fellblade, runic, legendary/gothic with a summit warlord shield, summit shield, spiked targe, emblazoned shield or shield of the wing, IE longer blades with a more traditional looking "knight" shield.
